White Pumpkin

This white pumpkin is wheel-thrown from sturdy brown stoneware and then the form is hand altered to achieve the depth and contour of pumpkin ribs. A handmade and coiled stem was later attached.  Once fired the pumpkin body was glazed with a striking glossy white and the stem with brown matte, and then fired once again. This unique piece will add a touch of elegance to your home décor.
